A 45 inch striped bass was caught by a surfcaster from the Salisbury reservation right at the toothpick. The Angler also reported catching some flounder there as well. Both were caught from shore using clams from Crossroads. Others fisherman reported some great schoolie action in the Merrimack river and out at the mouth.
